Thanksgiving to a Break

Hey all,

Sorry to leave you in the cyber world without a bit of entertainment but I've been a busy student. One of those weeks where the world eventually faded into the colors of my word processor because I'd been staring at it for so long and when I looked up I wanted my sunglasses because the world beyond was so bright. But everything is done. I even have my grad school applications 75 percent complete. Yes, yes, I do.

Two more classes and then I've got a week off. What I look forward to most is reading a book that I choose. What I look forward to seeing is my family. What I look forward to eating is well anything that won't kill me.

Have a good one.

Happy November

It's November.

Two more months of 2009.

And I need to be working on my grad. school applications. They are two times the fun of undergraduate applications because you have fill out two apps. all together. One goes to the graduate school admissions and one goes to the program you are applying for. So cool, I know. I am going to get my MFA in creative writing.

Right now I'm drinking tea. It's a raspberry based black tea and it is so good. Yesterday I had green tea with honey and lemon. I feel so writer-ish when I sit at my computer and drink my tea and have my cat on my lap and work on the first three chapter of my book because those are the writing selection I'm sending to the grad schools.

And for those of you who are applying to undergraduate college, don't forget your deadlines. They are quickly approaching and the last thing you want to do is sacrifice opportunity because of laziness.

Good luck.

Have a great one.
